The location was good, the situation pretty being right next to the river. The rooms were a good size and the bed comfortable.
The hotel is above a shop and pub. Being at the front it was noisy with a delivery in the early hours. Best to take some ear plugs.
I only stayed 1 night on a business trip. Excellent building conversion from dock shed to hotel, bar and restaurant. Pleasant location next to marina. Very clean and well appointed, usual pub restaurant although food and service is very good. Good value for money.
Lovely location, individualistically-styled rooms. Helpful staff.
The standard of food I had in the restaurant in the evening was poor (microwaved pie & mash). On the plus side, the mineral water was properly chilled and I didn't have to wait long for the food to arrive!
Very nice location near Historic Dockyard.
It was lovely to be able to completely unwind whilst being able to have a few drinks and with the choice of local restaurants within walking distance
Beautiful design, all areas of this hotel were attractive and everywhere was warm! Our room was spotless, warm and comfortable. Food was great, including the best, freshly cooked, breakfast ever.
warm friendly staff, well appointed room
No blind on the bathroom window and the shower was very difficult to control and not spray all over the floor
cleanliness of hotel and the theme of decoraction
Very nice locations close to the restyled dockyards, shopping mall, and marina. Offers excellent services, combined with a good pub (even Japanese draft beer) and restaurant. Very helpfull and friendly staff.
The pub was great and so was the food, will stay there again.
Very good for one night, but no room to put any toileteries. The bathroom was a bit crammed.
The comfortable bed & the powerful shower.
Pleasant situation near the waterfront and internal design features retain the historic link with shipbuilding. We came to visit the historic dockyard and it was a perfect location for this.
Rather noisy in the late evening as people left the hotel bar and collected their cars. The late shoppers at the coop next door and the early delivery lorries in the morning added to the disturbances. The use of apprentice benches in the dining room was an interesting touch but left little room in the chairs provided to put knees under the table.
Very friendly helpful staff. Picturesque location amongst the redeveloped historic dock yards and marinas. Ease of free parking right next to hotel.
Good accommodation, good food , excellent service friendly staff
